How we make money
Last updated: 23 October 2026
The Mayhem Games is run by Wild Hearts Publishing Pty Ltd (ABN 34 695 911 025), an Australian company. Unlike most of the games we write about, nobody is lying to you on this page.
Affiliate links
The shop buttons in our game store are affiliate links. When you click one, we send you to that retailer. If you then buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission.
- You pay the same price whether you use our link or not.
- Retailers do not pay us to feature a game, and they do not see or approve what we write.
- A game is in the store because we think it is worth playing, not because it pays more.
- We do not show prices. Retailers change them constantly, so we send you to check the current price instead of showing an old one.
Our own games
We also publish games. Mayhem and Havenscarare ours, so we earn from them directly. They sit at the top of the store and are labelled “our game” so you always know which is which.
The facts and the opinions
Player counts, play times and ages are checked against the publisher’s page where we can find one, and each game page links to the source. Editions differ, so check the box before you buy. The complexity rating, the “best for” tags and the descriptions are our opinion.
